Diaper Rash Menu

Introduction:

Diaper rash is a very irritating problem for kids. They are unable to express anything about their problem but you as a caring parent would do anything to prevent diaper rash of your baby. Diaper rash can cause itching and redness of the baby's skin. Diaper rash occurs because of the warm environment that is caused by fecal wastes in bottom part of the body which helps the bacteria and fungus to grow and cause this problem.

Causes Of Diaper Rash:

The factors that are responsible for diaper rashes are:

Wetness: If your kid stays for a long period of time in moist conditions then it leads to the irritation of skin and it becomes mushy and red due to which skin looks rash. Diaper rash can be prevented from wetness by the introduction of dryness to rash areas of skin. Allow the bottom part of the baby to expose to the open air environment so that moisture can be absorbed by air to prevent diaper rash in future.

Increase in PH level: Diaper rash is a very uncomfortable condition for the babies. The fecal matters like stool and urine are responsible for increase in the PH level of kid's skin. The increase in PH level of skin provides a suitable environment to bacteria and fungus to grow there and their presence causes diaper rash. The best idea to save your kid from diaper rash is to change the diapers frequently.

Symptoms of Diaper Rash;

•  Skin Condition: The presence of red and puffy spots on the diaper region such as butts and thighs.

•  Baby's Reaction: Diaper rash is an unpleasant situation for baby. Because of diaper rash baby looks uncomfortable and starts crying.

•  Most of the diapers available in market are good absorbers and can easily absorb moisture but still it is suggested to change the diaper of baby at regular intervals.

•  Before changing diaper check that the diaper portion of baby is completely dry.

•  Always wash your hands before changing the diaper otherwise it can make situation worse by causing infections in the diaper areas of the baby.
