Defination
Dysmenorrhoea is the term given to a painful or difficult menstruation. Around the time of periods, some the women suffer from debilitating pain and complain more adverse effects like nausea, dizziness and headache. They are advised to take a pain killer during their work time and to get on with it. It is due to irritation in the ovary, if the pain precedes the menstrual period and is generally accompanied by pain in the groin.
There are two types of Dysmenorrhea

Primary Dysmenorrhoea - This affects mostly young women and girls (around 14 to 18 year). Primary Dysmenorrhea is the normal period pain experienced by all women at the time of their period. It is the common type of painful periods.

Secondary Dysmenorrhoea - It require proper medical prescription because it is caused due to some menstruation disorder and is less common among women's.
