Introduction:It is a mental disorder in which a group of nerve cells or neurons are affected. The effected nerve cells pass wrong signals to other parts of body. The signs of epilepsy are strange behavior, muscle spasms, convulsions etc. In some cases the sufferer can loose his consciousness also. There can be so many causes of epilepsy. Generally the factors that affect the working of nerve cells are responsible for the occurrence of this disorder. Generally abnormal brain development, brain injury and brain illness are the main causes of the Epilepsy disorder. Idiopathic Epilepsy:There is no evidence for the causes of this type of Epilepsy but genetic factors are considered as the main cause of this type of brain disorder. The person suffering from this type of disorder generally shows no sign of abnormalities. It can be treated with the help of proper medications. Cryptogenic Epilepsy:So far no cause has been known for this type of Epilepsy.
