Symptoms for Jaundice
Some of the Common Symptoms of jaundice are:
- Extreme Weakness.
- Fever.
- Nausea.
- Yellow discoloration of the tongue, and urine.
- Yellowing of the skin, usually appearing first on the skin of the face and scalp.
- Yellowing also seen in white parts of the eyes.
- Headache.
- In severe jaundice, the palms of the hands and soles of the feet will also turn yellow.
- Loss of Appetite.
- Unusual drowsiness.
- The patient may also feel a dull pain in the liver region. Obstructive jaundice may be associated with intense itching.
- Severe Constipation.
- In some cases, light-coloured faeces is also the main symptom of jaundice.
