Symptoms for Migraine

Migraines most commonly occur in women and usually start between the ages of 10 and 46

Common Signs and Symptoms of Migraine are associated with:

  • Intense head pain: The pain begins on one side of the head and it spreads downward to the eye, face and even neck. The pain can switch sides and less commonly can affect both sides at once.
  • Feeling a relentless throbbing or pounding deep in the head are the early symptoms of migraine.
  • Having nausea.
  • Vomiting could occur during migraine.
  • Strong and painful reactions to light and loud noises. As a result patients try to avoid them.
  • The simple act of moving may be difficult during the migraine attack.
  • Weakness, is the primary symptom of migraine.
  • Pain over one eye may occur.
  • Mental and mood changes - Depression , anger, joy are the common symptoms of migraine.
  • Polyuria (urinating often and in large amounts) may occur during migraine.
  • Soreness and stiffness of neck muscles.
  • Anorexia (diminished appetite, aversion to food).
  • Constipation or diarrhea.
  • Temporary blind spots
  • In migraine condition, you will loss of appetite.
  • Chills.
  • Swelling of the face with extreme pain occur in chronic migraine.
