Sore Throat
What is Sore Throat?A sore throat is a disease located in the area around the tonsils. It can be caused by both a virus and a bacteria. A sore throat is partly a disease in itself and partly an effect of other diseases such as flu. Sore Throat is most common in small kids and young peoplem but can occur at any age and to any person. The most common characteristic of the disease is a throat pain and trouble during swallowing. Sore throats are very common in US, and its one of the main reason why they visit a doctor. But usually visiting a doctor is not neccessary. Most sore throats are caused by a virus and go away on their own in about a week. Only a small percentage are bacterial infections that may require medical care. If the disease is caused due to a bacteria, then it can be treated very easily, but if the cause of the disease is a virus then there are no treatment availaible, and you will have to wait until the body gets rid of the virus itself.
