Home Remedies for Dark Circles

Some Home Cures and Remedies found effective in treating Dark Circles are:

Water: Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water in a day. It is helpful in releasing the toxic substances and other pollutants from body that can cause dark circles under eyes.

Tea Bags: You can minimize the effect of dark circles using tea bags. Keep used tea bags on the eyes for sometime. It not only provides cooling sensation to eyes but also diminishes the dark circles.

Sleep: Take proper sleep. You can avoid this disorder by taking a sleep of 7 to 8 hours at night.

Fruits and Vegetables: Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Try to include more and more green leafy vegetables in your diet. Drink a glass of fresh fruit juice on daily basis to avoid this disorder. Never eat junk food stuffs as they comprise of artificial colors that can cause dark circles under the eyes.

Cucumber: Cut two round slices of cucumber and put these slices on the eyes for sometime. It not only keeps eyes cool but is also helpful in fading dark circle under eyes.

Lemon and Tomato Juice: Take two teaspoonful of tomato juice. Add few drops of lemon juice in it, now add a pinch of turmeric and some flour in this mixture to make a paste. Now apply this paste on circles under eyes. Wash the paste with cold water. Try this remedy for several days and you will notice improvement surely.

Potato: Cut slices of potato and keep them on the eyes for sometime. Try this remedy for some days and dark circles will get diminished. Potatoes contain an enzyme known as catecholase. It is helpful in lightning of skin due to which the circles fade away within several days of its use.

Fenugreek Seeds: Soak some seeds of fenugreek in raw milk for a night and then apply this paste in morning under the eyes. The spots will vanish within a few days.

Milk: Take a teaspoonful of milk and add some sugar to it. Also add some flour to the mixture to make a paste. Apply this paste on the dark circles under eyes. It is the best home remedy for curing dark circles.
