Home Remedies for Diaper Rash
Diaper rash is a very common skin problem in babies due to which the baby feels discomfort. The problem can be noticed with the presence of red spots on thighs and bottom portion of the baby. These can be very easily cured using very simple home based remedies such as: Oatmeal: Put some oatmeal in a bucket of water. Keep the bottom part of baby in this water for sometime. It is the best home remedy for diaper rash. Baking soda: Baking soda is readily available at home. Put some baking soda in the bathing water of baby. Allow your baby to sit in that water for sometime so that water will be soaked by the bottom part of baby. It is an effective home made remedy for curing diaper rash. Milk Cream: Massage the skin of baby with milk cream for a few minutes. It is helpful in moisturizing the skin thus prevents diaper rash. Vinegar: Vinegar is a general kitchen item. Add some amount of vinegar in a bucket of water and clean the diaper in this water to avoid future diaper rash. Almond: Take some almond. Soak them in water for a night. Now peel the outer layer of almonds and grind them properly. Put some milk cream in this crush to make a paste. Apply this paste directly on the buttocks of baby. It is helpful in dealing with diaper rash. Water: Properly clean the skin of your baby with water. A clean and healthy skin is less prone towards diaper rash. Get Rid of Diaper: It is the best and simplest home remedy for getting rid of diaper rash. The diaper of baby contains fecal waste. It warms the bottom part of body that allows bacteria and fungus to grow causing redness and inflammation on baby's skin. Try to change the diaper of your baby at regular intervals to avoid diaper rash. Cornstarch: Apply some cornstarch on baby's butt. It is helpful in absorbing the moisture caused by fecal wastes. Coconut Oil: Gently apply coconut oil on the bottom part of baby. It is helpful in the prevention of diaper rash.
