Some Important Home Remedies for the Treatment of Nausea includes:

  • Boil 1/2 cup of rice in 1 cup of water for about 10-20 minutes. After it is boiled, drain the water into a cup and sip at the rice water until symptoms are gone.
  • Get plenty of rest.
  • Ginger is one of the best things to get rid of Nausea. So, get yourself some fresh ginger and put it in tea or you can have some ginger capsules.
  • Chew your food thoroughly.
  • Make sure your stomach is never completely empty. Carry fruit, cheese and/or crackers around with you to nibble on throughout the day.
  • Eat a high protein snack before bed at night.
  • Eat a diet high in carbohydrates and protein, low in fats.
  • Tea, either Camomile or peppermint can also effectively get rid of nausea.
  • Drink wheat germ dissolved in warm milk, a few teaspoons every hour.
  • Take 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon honey in cold water before bed.
  • Chew a sprig of mint or have a cup of peppermint tea.
  • Get a massage with chamomile massage oil.
  • Drink liquids between rather than with meals.
  • Increase your intake of vitamin B6.
